Hi, I'm Jennifer Ramirez and I work with my husband, Jay as the Clinic Director of Autism Family Services of Beaumont LLC and Gen XY Counseling Center.

Born in 1975, I  pride myself as being raised in what I believe as the best generation in modern history. Gen-Xers are a breed of their own.  We are known for resilience, independence and forward thinking.

Generation X: 1965 to 1980, we are now between the ages of 42 to 57 and bring with us some common stereotypes, like: being the "latch-key kids", or "the MTV generation."

I grew up in a typical middle class American household, which served its purpose for the need for therapy in my life. It helped. My 20's and 30's were brutal, but my 40's have proven to me that there are better ways to deal with life.

I consider myself a down to earth, open minded, Christian-conservative woman. I  have experienced: love, divorce, infertility, childbirth, aging / dying parents and lots of other life events that have molded me to who I am now.

I hold a Masters degree in Education Administration and a Masters in Education Counseling Development and a post graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. I provide therapeutic counseling services for Kids, Teens, Adults, Couples and Families. using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). I also offer support groups, specialized trainings in schools, daycares, and churches to advocate for individuals with disabilities.

I live in Texas with my husband, Jay and our adorable Morkie, Aubrey and our favorite black cat, Salem!  We have 3 adult children who have spread their wings. We can't wait to start the next phase of our life!

Hello, my name is Kellie Daniels, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) under the supervision of Amanda Mooney-Moss, LPC-S.

I am a lifelong resident of Beaumont, Texas. I proudly graduated from Lamar University with my Bachelor's Degree in Education (2016) and my Master's Degree in School Counseling (2022). I am passionate about providing a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. I currently work as an elementary school counselor, but I also enjoy working with adolescents and adults to help them navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship concerns. As an LPC-A, I look forward to building authentic connections and empowering clients to discover their strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and move toward a more fulfilling life.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Chase and our two daughters, Millie and Mallory. In my personal time, I enjoy reading, crafting, going to concerts, and trying new things!

Javia Archelle, Counseling Intern

Hi, my name is Javia Archelle, and I am a Counseling Intern at GenXY Counseling as well as a graduate student at Grand Canyon University, where I am pursuing my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

I am deeply motivated by the belief that every individual deserves to be understood, supported, and equipped with the tools needed to thrive, regardless of their life experiences. My work with children and families has strengthened my appreciation for patience, compassion, and kindness as powerful foundations for growth and healing. My counseling approach is grounded in empathy, genuine connection, and meeting clients where they are.

As a counselor-in-training, my goal is to create a warm, safe, and judgment-free environment where clients feel comfortable being their authentic selves. I believe meaningful change occurs through trust, authenticity, and the courage to engage in self-reflection and personal growth. I strive to walk alongside each client as they work toward healing, balance, and self-discovery.

Outside of counseling, I value family, laughter, and finding joy in life’s simple moments. I aim to bring that same sense of care, authenticity, and presence into each session, with the hope of making a positive and lasting impact on the individuals and families I serve.

During her internship, Javia will also serve as an ABA Technician at Autism Family Services of Beaumont, supporting clients through applied behavior analysis services.
